Thank you to everyone who voted in the poll!

From the results, and the comments, I've decided to keep the challenges anonymous at this time. In order to make this strategy as effective as possible I'd like to ask that in future challenges authors do not name their betas when thanking them. Please save that for when you cross-post.

Also, I'm going to hold a yearly amnesty. Authors can submit fics they may have started for a challenge but ran out of time and didn't finish, or people can choose one of the past themes to write for. It will be like an annual Second Chance Challenge.

I'd like to run a new theme next, so the amnesty will take place after the next challenge. Speaking of which, due to popular demand I'm opening the next challenge up to graphics makers and vidders.

I'll also continue to post to both IJ and LJ at this time.

Okay, so Gossip Girl, which I don't watch, has an episode coming up where three of the characters engage in a menage a troi. A parents group, Parents Television Council, is asking for the episode to be pre-empted or pulled, cause Susie and Jimmy's eyes might fall out.

Note to Stoopid Parents: The BEST way to ensure that your kids will do something that you don't want them to do is to POINT IT OUT IN A LOUD AND PUBLIC MANNER. Jesus, the ratings for that episode are gonna be off the hook!!!

And your fear that Susie and Jimmy might wanna have group sex? They probably already are. *shrugs* I'm just saying.

“I’ll get it Ma!” Michael shouted up the stairs as the doorbell rang yet again on Halloween night.

“It’s past curfew, baby, so turn off the porch light after this group.” Shouting was a normal mode of conversation in the Novotny household.

“Trick or Treat Mikey!” Michael gaped for a moment and then pulled his bruised and bleeding best friend in the door. “Jesus Christ Brian, what the hell happened to you?”

“I wouldn’t share my candy so a big bully jumped me.” Michael nodded sadly at the hidden truth and hugged his friend tightly.

“I fucking hate Halloween, Mikey.”

I think I might try to channel one of Rebel's angelically-transmitted fics, but although I have vast experience acting as typist for fics psychically communicated by dogs, I have yet to post one communicated posthumously.

Should I post them under his hounded  name in his journal? It feels... weird. Which given the context of the question might be a given, but.... what do you think, oh my darling readers?

It had been a busy night, and Jennifer was tired. She and Craig had taken Molly trick-or-treating, and even Justin had deigned to go along.

Molly was getting big enough to want to knock on doors by herself. Jennifer was loath to let her go, but Craig insisted that it would be okay. And in a show of brotherly…something, Justin walked with her. Molly even let Justin hold her hand, once she realized that she got more candy when he smiled.

Upon returning home, Justin hefted his bag onto the table. Having a little sister wasn’t so bad, after all.

OMG I MISSED THE INTERNETS AND ALL OF YOU!!!

I've been tv and internetless for a week. IT'S BEEN HORRIBLE. And then my phone went out on me too. So I didn't even have internet access there. *sobs* But it did give me some time to do things I should do. I like move into our new house!!

Currently it's a disaster of boxes and half unpacked boxes spewing their contents in all directions. As soon as it's not I shall post pics.

The Uverse man was here today installing everything. Which means C did not get a chance to sleep (she works nights) which means I can't wake her up and ask her why our pretty new TV apparently has no sound. I've tried everything. Pretty HD picture, but no words coming out of it.

And I can't ask her why the internets are SO SLOW. But at least I have them. WOOOHOOO~!!!!!!

I'm sure I have missed out on tons. And unpacking will leave me little time to catch up...but I'm going to try.
